Is this recipe correct?

Or is it bad proofreading?

Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen has a recipe for brown sugar cookies that includes 1 tablespoon of allspice and 2-1/2 tablespoons of cinnamon, for 3 dozen cookies.

Does anyone else have this cookbook? Has anyone made this recipe? I'd think that they meant teaspoons and flubbed the proofreading--note, I'm pretty sure they actually spell out tablespoons, rather than using the t/T abbreviations.

I know it seems like a lot, but all references to his brown sugar cookies do stress that the measurements are correct.

That is a lot, but it's possible that he did mean tablespoons. Allspice and cinnamon are pretty mild. If the recipe called for a tablespoon of cloves I'd be worried.

the quantities are correct, if you put teaspoons in the flavor will be extremely mild, which is fine for people who don't like the strong taste of all spice and cinnamon in their cookies.
