Howdy!

APDC requested a zoning change yesterday:

"le second étage de l'immeuble doit être occupé exclusivement par la cuisine du restaurant pour la préparation de nourriture comprenant une table de dégustation de 8 places pour les employés;
• adjacent au mur arrière du sous-sol de l'établissement, aménager une chambre réfrigérée pour disposer les matières résiduelles;"

If anyone wants to get on Martin Picard's bad side, you can complain about it at the public consultation on April 2nd. And I assume that the table upstairs becomes THE place to eat in town next year.

It sounds like they simply want to build a prep kitchen on the second floor.

I'm wrong. They are building a second floor kitchen in order to expand the dining room. So it seems likely the counter will be done away with. Bummer!

Ok, so the brick oven will be moved from the 1st floor (rez-de-chaussé) to the second floor ? weird.

They're gonna remove the bar section ?

It would be a shame if they removed the bar section as I love to sit at the bar and talk to the cooks (and taste stuff they give me), but if they are moving the kitchen....
