leftover water from strained yogurt?

i just strained some yogurt to make it all greeky thick and fage-y. now i have this leftover water, and i seem to recall there was some reason to not just toss it out; i'll be damned if can remember if that's true or why?

so CH? is there some reason not to toss this?

      duh. of course. i was obviously having a brain fart. so which way do i take this whey?

        Great as a water replacement in bread making. I make cheese once a week, and the whey is then used in my no-knead bread. Ups the flavor and the nutrition.

        While I was researching what to do with my whey, I read about a family that adds koolaid powder and that is what the kids can drink during snack time.
