Gator Tail in Sarasota?

Can anyone recommend a good spot in Sarasota (or thereabouts) to try gator tail, wild hog, or anything else more adventurous than beef, chicken, pork, etc?

I’ve not been there but I’ve been told about a place in Bradenton called the Linger Lodge that serves some form of alligator. I’m planning to go there for lunch one of these days. As per their website:
