  1. Pommes Frites has it.

    1. In Brooklyn, Sheep Station (yes an Australian Restaurant!) has a classic poutine (hot frites, cold cheese curds and nothing else) as well as a small but eclectic beer and wine selection (including a Unibrou like Maudite)

I just called them today and spoke to Thierry and he said they are scheduled to open on July 25, 2009. I'm looking forward to it. I just got back from Montreal and I was hooked on the poutine up there.

...and if you can't wait until then for a fix of Canadiana - how about this

BTW, I popped into T'Poutine after eating at Katz's Deli last week and spoke to Thierry and the guys who were busy doing up the new place. Unfortunately there will be no smoked meat - but they will have pastrami as a substitute. But bring on the poutine - i can't wait.

Yup, veeery excited about Tim Horton's opening up. I have nothing against Dunkin'. I like their coffee. But more variety and choices are better for us consumers.

              Update:
Walked by on Saturday night, saw they were closed with a sign still up. I emailed Thierry. He said it got pushed back for a final inspection on Tuesday. May open on Thursday or Friday. Can't wait, mmm...

According to this link, opening was yesterday 31 July - so anyone been yet?

          2. Here's a zoom-in on NYC from the world poutine map at the website Montreal Poutine:
