Snoqualmie dinner?

GreenLakeDave Mar 4, 2009 09:28 AM

My wife and I will be spending our 5th wedding anniversary out at the Salish Lodge.

Are there any good options for dinner besides the lodge?

Gianfranco in downtown Snoqualmie is decent. I'd avoid the places on Snoqualmie Ridge if you are celebrating your anniversary.

Anybody eaten at the lodge lately? Is it worth the $$$?

We're already having breakfast there, thought it would be nice to have dinner elsewhere.
I've had dinner in the Attic, and wasn't impressed.

We have stayed at the Salish for the past 20 anniversaries, and do the breakfast but not the dinner. Have you considered a short drive to Issaquah? We like Fins Bistro there, and maybe others on this site can recommend other Issaquah restaurants.

The Woodman Lodge in downtown Snoqualmie (behind the Railroad Museum) would be a good choice for dinner. The food and service are good and you could really splurge for half what the dinner at Salish will cost you.

Another choice for good food in a casual setting is the new Fall City Roadhouse. It’s only 5 or 10 minutes from the lodge at the intersection of Highway 203 and Highway 202.

Don’t forget to walk to the waterfall lookout at different times of day, it’s awesome.
