Cooking class or chef at farm

Hello,

I would like to know of any chefs or cooking classes that go out to farms and
show you how to use all that great produce and fruits. I would really like to get into this a little more. I want to buy local and support our local growers.

If you know of any web sites or ideas that would be great. I'm mainly look at the LA
area but I can drive outside the county too. Also any other ideas would help

Daily Candy posted a link last month on these Female Chefs that focus on organic, farm driven cuisine. They do one on one classes I think as well.
