looking for an old fashioned east coast egg roll in seattle

you know the kind: much fatter than a spring roll with drier crunchy skin, shrimp and pork inside. does any chinese restaurant in seattle do these? i am given to believe that they are also tough to find on the east coast now. in general i'm also looking for any chinese restaurant that will more replicate my childhoold experiences of chinese restaurants in baltimore, new york, and dc. barbecued spare ribs, shrimp toast, shrimp with chili sauce. i am aware they weren't 'authentic' (although i'm also aware that's a bit of an oxymoron in talking about american-chinese food.) but that was foundational eating for me (yes i am jewish.) thanks a lot.

  1. Louie's in Ballard serves an egg roll close to what you describe (at least they used to before it went downhill). Uptown China on lower Queen Anne serves shrimp toast, and some of the best mu shu pork in the area. I find it to be top notch Chinese cuisine, along with its relative: China Village near University Village.
