having a meeting on Telegraph ave in Berkeley tomorrow nite and need good takeout bbq somewhere reasonably close by- not everett and jones or trex!

Not E&J or T-Rex because you don't like them or because they're not close enough?

Brick Pig and Looney's are closer. Flint's on Shattuck closed again.

    How about Korean or tandoori?

KC(on San Pablo) isn't bad, as long as you get the sauce on the side. (I should qualify this by stating that I think they put too much sauce on the meat - others may love it this way.)

others.. like me. but the real reason to go to KC's (aside from the chic name) is the quality of the meat and the smoky, slow-cooked perfection of the BBQ. I am a big fan of KC's.

...and they handle any size take-out no problem. I'm sure they'd be happy to keep the sauce on the side.
