Does anyone get Rewards for dining out?

I just stumped on the Rewards Network. It sounds too good to be true and I'm afraid to give them my credit card number. Does anyone use this? 15% off is nice, since we dine out often. Thanks in advance for any info.

  1. take a look at the restrictions, not all that it seems with "get 15% back when you eat."

    1. I used to use it quite a bit, and it's definitely legit. We stopped using it several years ago, though, mostly because the restaurants we liked were all dropping their reward levels to 10% or so. I don't know what the program is like lately, but it's not a scam.

      1. We've been participating for several years. The website shows when the restaurant participates. We've always gotten the discount when we've gone on a participating date/time. The discount has always been off the total bill. It is easy to use. It happens automatically. I don't have to say or do anything other than pay with one of the registered cards . Sometimes I don't even know a place is participating until I get an email days later telling me I earned rewards. I go where I want to go eat and if the restaurant participates, it is just a bonus.

        1. My experience was also positive. When they first started they charged $50 up front to join. At one point I found I wasn't eating in their restos enough to offset the $50 so they agreed to work it so that I would be charged nothing and the first $50 in rewards would go toward the card fee. That is apparently how it works for everyone now.

I still am on the program and get their e-mails. With things the way they are now the list of restaurants is growing. There doesn't seem to be a risk in joining. I've also seen a reward come through when I didn't know the resto we ate at was in their program.
