dinner party for 8

Looking for a restaurant, that might have a private room
for 8 people. Doesnt have to have a private room, but
atleast a square table set up...or round table....so
that conversation flows.

Would prefer that the restaurant is located
uptown (i.e north of st. clair...but south of steeles).

Previous get-togethers have been at coppi, paese,
and wildfire....any other suggestions would be welcome.

Not sure what your price point is but we had a party of 8 and sat at a round table at North 44 (Yonge & Eglinton).

You could try Ferraro (I think it's 502 Eglington West). They have three quite separate rooms, so space isn't a problem. The pastas are nothing special, but the pizzas are awesome (they've got one of those wood-fired ovens), and you'll almost certainly be asking for more bread. Salads are enormous, if you're into salads.Should be a bit of something for your entire party.

Mistura has a wonderful private room, that accomodates at most 10. It's just off to the side of the main restaurant so while it is private, you don't feel like you've been relugated to the basement.
