Some people can do one easily enough, but have trouble finding their way to the board index page to do the other. You can find a list of all boards in the Chowhound menu, or by clicking on the word Chowhound to take you to the front page. Pick the one you want to post on, and then choose add new post, as hannaone said. If you're already reading a thread, and you want to start a new post on the same board, you can click on the name of the board at the top of the thread, or 'back to the X board' at the bottom to go back to the index, as well.
