Does anyone know where a NJ native can find these individually wrapped delights? The mini cakes are preferred to the big ones, but, hey beggars can't be choosers.

They used to be available out here, but alas, no more--I was told a few years ago that Hostess bought the distributorship and was regrouping, but when I stopped by that same store (in the Farmers Market--they used to carry them) a few months later, I was told they weren't shipping them out West anymore. So far, the only way I've been able to satisfy the Drake's craving is to wait until I visit NJ, or to have a relative ship me a care package, though I did just find this link: http://www.hometown-treats.com/drakes_cakes.html

Now if only I could find a way to get Rutt's Hut hot dogs shipped to me... :)

Rutt's? God, I haven't thought about a ripper in a LONG time.

Going veggie makes hot dog love an iffy proposition.

Internet shopping is a modern-day marvel (this from someone who ordered a case of Martha White cornbread mix and some Goo-Goo Clusters from pwclub.com - that's Piggly Wiggly to you Southerners).

Wow!! Truly a dream come true. The good thing is is that you can order a gross of each variety, because they stay fresh for about 5 years. I like to say, when they take the Goodyear Tires off line at night, they put the Drake's Cakes on.

I'm not sure what's in 'em, but they sure are good!!

Thanks for the link.
