Can't find my recipe for prune filling for hamantaschen
I am craving hamantaschen BIG TIME! ... I have my recipe for the cookies, but I can't find the recipe for my favorite prune filling. I thought it would be so easy to find it on Google, it wasn't!
The one I usually make combines prunes and orange juice, orange zest, raisens and sugar.
Can someone help me out?

Here's the recipe I use, it tastes like the real deal:
1 cup pitted prunes 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/4 cup sugar, or alternative granulated sweetener 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Purée all ingredients together in a food processor or blender until smooth. ( I think, alternatively you can soften the prunes in a small pot, covered with the OJ, over low heat , then mash up by hand).
the orange zest sounds like it would add a nice touch...

re: chililala
Thank you, chililala !!!!
I looked at about 75 recipes on Google (including the ones in the links above - no offense, todao) but I couldn't find one that uses OJ ... perfect! If I just add a little zest and some raisens it will be the exact recipe I was looking for! (Actually, I don't even need raisens)
