Today I picked up a box of assorted rugulach (8 pieces, 10 oz total) at Star Market in Salinas on promotional offer for $2.50. They're a little soft, probably not super fresh, but a turn in the toaster oven revived 'em beautifully. Good ingredients shine through in the flaky texture, delicious fillings, and rich taste. Quite a deal.

Oh, Star also has Semifreddi challah for $1.79 on promo too.
