Anybody know of a good way of finding one to join in the area?

Maybe posting something on Craigslist or putting up a flier on the Whole Foods message board.

Interested in joining or starting one in Baltimore. Love good food, good drinks, and good friends!

We would too, culinary artist. Just moved here and don't know that many folks.

I would be interested in joining and I don't mind organizing. I used to have a restaurant club with my friends, but I just got to busy to continue organizing.

I would also be interested in joining. I would prefer DC but could do anywhere (NoVa) that is metro-accessible.

I joined one on yahoo but I haven't attended any events yet. Most of them are in Manassas which isn't near me (Hyattsville, MD). I'd love to find a great food club.

Unfortunately I am not metro accessible....right near Fair Oaks.

Reston and interested - but I'm not sure how they work very well.

start your own is the most likely route.
Also search the food/wine etc section of http://www.meetup.com for DC
There are many focused and local groups and a chance to start a new one

hello I started one here in San Diego. I made it on www.meetup.com till we had our core group of 10 people. It really worked out well I highly recommended doing it that way.

Wenditos, can you explain briefly how you explained the group on meetup? Thanks, glad to hear you were successful.
