First Class Meat and Fish Markets in Atlanta?

I am coming to Atlanta in April for a friend's birthday. I promised a great home cooked birthday meal. The problem, of course, is that I have no idea where to find prime beef and lamb as well as fresh or live seafood such as lobster. I know that I can get some of this at Whole Foods, but I would prefer local markets,

Thank you for your help.

  1. Star Provisions for Meat, Fish, Cheese...all of the highest quality. They have dry aged and/or prime steaks.

Sawicki's in Decatur also has tremendous quality fish/meat

The New Yorker Marketplace and Deli on Pharr Road has also carried prime beef in the past

Lobster you can get at Your Dekalb Farmers Market

    1. Your DeKalb Farmer's Market for meat/seafood/produce, though I don't think the beef is prime.
