My husband works nearby and liked the place - how can you not like basic meat & potatoes??

When they exceute the abovementioned meat & potatoes poorly.

    2. I understand that Alcazar from the valley is opening a site there.

Yes, Alcazar is opening in this location, even without any ABC licensing. Website info:
Anyone been, or has it even opened yet?

They keep pushing back the opening date. I believe epop passes by regularly and will report when they're open.

I stopped inside and talked to the guy there and he said positively that they'll be open on Monday 8/17.

No beer or wine yet - liquor app is in process. Exact same menu as their Encino location.

Well, that's what he said when I stopped in on Friday. Anyways, he gave me their business card and you call & confirm before you make any extra effort to stop by.

It is the same well-executed traditional Lebanese menu they serve in the Valley.
