Orso Restaurant-8706 W. 3rd St. Closing?
Has anyone else heard that the restaurant is currently for sale and closing? It has one of the best outdoor patios in the city.

In fact it can be quite negative.

Valet at the restaurant say it's slower than ever and regulars are not returning.
Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Seacrest were spotted outside in recent weeks.

Orso as of yesterday (October 7, 2009) is still open. But I wish I'd read these comments from February before I took my wife there last night for her birthday. The food was as delicious--and the setting as romantic--as we remembered, but a simple query to the manager about how things were going led to the "Building is in escrow" probably will be a new restaurant depressing discussion.
