The rice was fairly blah - next time I'll steam my own jasmine rice and toss what came in the TJ's package - but the entree itself was WONDERFUL. The frozen naan was also good. Are the other Indian entrees as good as the Butter Chicken? And is the fresh naan as good (or better) than the frozen? It felt a little stale in the package, which is why we opted for the frozen. The frozen is supposed to be better, from what I've heard. I like a lot of the Indian entrees at Trader Joe's, the ones that come in a box and are not frozen. The chicken and sauce were much better than the butter chicken, imo. But, I thought the butter chicken was pretty bad. I do, have in my posession the "vegetarian thali" which we'll be trying soon. I have high hopes, but, well, come on, all of the shelf stable Indian food realy is not very good. It just seems like a great idea in theory. Most of it tastes the same to me. Has kind of a chef boy-ar-dee like flavor to me - all of them. Side note - I also tried the frozen mussaman thai curry. Inedible.
