Does Costco in Houston sell Tyson Wings?

danhole Feb 23, 2009 09:28 AM

I am addicted to these wings and get them at Sam's for a really good price. There is no way to find out on line if they are available at Costco, so if any of you in Houston go to Costco let me know if they have the Tyson Tequila Lime Wings, 64oz bag and how much are they, please.

Dani - just hop into the car and drive over there and look. They don't charge you anything to walk through the store and see what they have and whether or not you want to join. Some places even give you a one-time temporary membership, good for one day.

At the door, where you'd show your id if you were a member, just tell them that you want to look around and see what they have before you decide whether or not to join. It's no problem at all. They want people to come in and have a look.

While you're at it, you can do a little price shopping on other items as well and decide if you want to make the switch from Sam's to Costco.

Good to know. I would try calling again, hoping that someone would actually answer this time. That was pretty frustrating yesterday. I wish Costco would put the warehouse inventory on line, with prices, the way Sam's Club does. At Sam's I can even see if they have a low stock on a particular item, at the location I shop at.

The response I got from Costco was this:

"Due to the constantly changing product inventory at our locations, we are unable to quote product availability via e-mail or by phone."

Not very encouraging. Still wuhdadeal, if you get a chance do check and see. I am going to go by soon and visit, so it's no big deal if you don't have time.

              Thanks.

It is to hard to but there inventory on line like sam's, since there merchandise changes so quickly. That gives the customers the best price possible.

This had been hanging out in the Chain Board, and now it is here. Surely someone belongs to Costco.

Happens to me all the time... :) The internet has mostly replaced the phone for me, as well.. So, do they have them?

Well, that was a joke. It took navigating through the menu option trying to figure out which to choose, so I finally randomly picked one and asked. Waited for the phone to be answered and when a human got on, was directed to try a different menu option, so I hung up and tried again. This time no one answered that phone. I finally sent an email, but before I sent it, I was redirected to another page that advised me to call the warehouse. Who knows! Not good PR for them. I sent the email anyway and am waiting for a response.
