It's been at least a couple of years since I was there, but my impression was that they were trying hard to make real New Mexico type of food. They even had stuffed sopapillas, although they were a full-plate production instead of the singular objects I had in New Mexico. I also remember their chips and salsa being so good I couldn't stop eating them. Since it's about the only New Mexican food in the Bay Area, give it a try and see what you think. My exposure to real New Mexican food is limited.

I'm all ears. Am off to Santa Fe and Taos on Thursday to get our dose of chile. If there's a decent NM place in the Bay Area....we're there!!
