I just had one of the best pastries from didier and dumas

I've been to didier and dumas in nyack, a few times, but never noticed this one pastry I bought last night. It was so good, so simple, I just had to write about it. I don't know the name, it's a fan shaped wafer cookie, with a raspberry jam filling. It was fairly reasonable, 2.25. The flavor was buttery, the jam tart, contrasting the dusting of powdered sugar. The pastry was so crisp and flaky, it was just so good. I am now eating my leftover piece with a cup of milky irish breakfast tea.

    Oh my goodness I love that pastry! I don't think I have had a single thing in there that I did not like. Their ham and cheese croissants with bechamel and very good.

      Good to know about the croisants being good. Will try that next time. We also had this log shaped pastry filled with hazelnut cream that was good - but this fan shaped thing as you know is over the top!
