Foie gras lit?

I just re-read David Foster Wallace's famous "Consider the Lobster" article and wondered if there was anything similar for foie gras. I'm really interested on reading things on both sides of the issue.

      I read the article from the village voice and found it to be interesting but left me wanting more. I don't think it will stop my consumption but I am also not brave enough to look at the horrific videos out there that probably would.
