Various Lindt Chocolates @ 75% off in Mississauga

duckdown Feb 20, 2009 12:04 PM

Hey all, somebody else posted a pretty good deal on another food forum and just thought I'd pass it along.

The Lindt Factory at 7090 Kennedy Road in Misssissauga is offering 75% off on a large selection of chocolates.. Mostly Valentines branded stuff but apparently lots of other stuff as well.

Might be a good time to stock up if you're in the area and wan't some tasty chocolate at a majorly discounted price! I'm thinking of stopping by tonight.. Supposedly theres lots of stock left still

Enjoy!

Guess nobody else cares, but the place is amazing. And the prices are unreal.

Those 3-packs that sell for over $2 at shoppers drug mart are on sale for only 30 cents, I picked up a bunch of hazelnut variety, and there is so much other awesome stuff I've never even seen before... Those giant hearts filled with chocolates are marked down from $30 to like $3.95

I spent $20 and theres enough chocolate to feed an army... Place was packed with other bargain hunters too... Lots of stock left, I highly reccomend it. Dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate, nuts, everything

While I can't eat any of their products, I have stopped in and bought a bunch of chocolates on many occasions when I was in the area just to bring in to work or whatever. You can't really go wrong when you can buy a bunch of Lindt stuff for the same price as a chocolate bar at the grocery store.

        Ahh, right on man

I never even knew this place was so close to me.. Probably for the better or I'd be there way too much :)

        Cheers

Read the ingredients list as many of the Lindt proucts contain palm kernel or coconut oil. I try to avoid those.

Those ingredients are used in many products including Becel to replace hydrogenated oil. They are all aiming for 0 gram trans fat on the obligatory nutrition label.
A Lindt 70% cocoa bar I have uses cocoa butter, which is worth looking for although more expensive.

Lots of the 70% stuff was on sale, the huge bars to the regular sized ones to other little truffles and what not
