Hello,
My husband and I would like to order Peking Duck. Do you have any recs with reasonable prices? I notice that a lot of places make you order for a minimum of 4 people. We don't want to spend a fortune either. Thank you!

Without a doubt - Charlie Mom on Sixth Avenue. Their Peking Duck Dinner for Two special is FANTASTIC and it is a PHENOMENAL value!!! They had a BIG poster up about it in the restaurant so my friend and I tried it. I came with other Chinese dishes, dessert and I think soup too. MAJOR VALUE!

Best kept secret in the village - until now!

You can order Peking Duck for 2 people (half duck plus some entrees) at Peking Duck House.

Beijing Duck House is up to $46 for a whole duck but worth it. Make sure you have them wrap the entire carcass and bones to take home. Mrs. GG always makes soup with it. I can remember when it was $26. Man, I'm gettin old.

The one at Chef Ho's on 2nd Ave. and 89th or so is quite decent, and you can get half a duck if you like. Their prices are quite reasonable - we actually get it delivered some times.

I thought you were nearby there for some reason. I would stay away from the dumplings there though - the wrappers are just too thick. I do like their Wonton soup - I order from them sometimes when I'm sick!

I've always liked Peking Duck House and find the food at their midtown location to be better than their Chinatown location.

One person's reasonable is another person's fortune. How much for the Peking Duck, how much for the whole meal, tax, tip are your reasonable?
