Good Indian in Mesa or Chandler (AZ)?
I did a quick search, but will confess to also being a bit lazy. My father spends a couple of months each winter in Mesa, and is looking for a place to have Indian food in the area tomorrow night. They went to a Peruvian restaurant that I found on CH last year and loved it, so I'm under the gun to help with this one.
Thanks from a Manhattan hound!

Thanks for the recommendation. Tried The Dhaba yesterday for lunch and really enjoyed the lamb curry lunch special. I liked that there was just a bit of ghee on top of the curry -- I wiped the bowl clean with the nan to savor every last bit of it. I plan to go back on Tuesday for the Aloo Ghobi lunch lunch special (the choices for the veg, chicken, and lamb specials vary each day).

India Gate on Kyrene and Chandler Blvd has a very good lunch buffet. Though it may be more British than Indian, I usually go on Fridays when they have Chicken Tikka Masala, one of the best I've had. The buffet has a nice mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes (all north-Indian, I think).
One of my Indian coworkers recommended Woodlands for dosas and other south-Indian vegeterian food, but haven't been myself.
