Good luck. Please post if you find it.

I went everywhere last week looking for it. Nothing in stock.

Idiot at Beverly Hills Cheese Store, when asked for farmer's cheese/pot cheese/fresh cheese tried to sell my husband *crescenza* which is nothing remotely like farmer's cheese.

Had to use ricotta instead.

There's a small Turkish/Mediterranean market on the NE corner of Springdale and Warner in Huntington Beach that carries a lot of different items (like Turkish yogurt, lebne, etc.) as well as many kosher items. You might find it there.

I find Hoop cheese works just as well. I think Gelson's carries it.

Try there or Bristol Farms if there's one in your area.

It's been in every Raalph's I've shopped at. It's with the kosher section of herring and smoked salmon in the cold area near the other cheeses. The brand is Friendship. It comes in a rectangular 7.5 oz. package. If you prefer a drier curd, then buy hoop cheese. Farmer's cheese has a creamier texture, and is moister.
