Incredible. I wonder if it's odd for him to see his likeness on food. Here are he and Lincoln in cupcakes:

re: Ruth Lafler
How is a loaf of bread with Obama done? I've seen Obama cookies but I'll bet you had a much bigger selection in the bay area than those of us in most places.
I know people who had pictures of themselves on cookie giveaways for their wedding and everyone said it seemed weird to be eating their faces. But, I do phototransfers onto cakes with children in class all the time and the kids love them. They all want to eat their own faces, weird.

re: chowser
The Obama bread is done with a pattern of dark flour applied with a stencil. I'm not sure how it adheres, but it does, although it smears fairly easily. Here's the one I bought for election day (missing an edge I'd already cut off before thinking to photograph it). It's very good bread, BTW, and that was a 4 lb loaf.

:-)
Ah, well, the price point ($20) was quite controversial on the SF board. Some people thought it was outrageously expensive and some people (like me), thought it was expensive but a reasonable value for something that serves the dual function of being a deliciously edible centerpiece.
