I'm looking for a recommendation for great Chinese food (that's not in Chinatown) for a dinner party of 20-30 people. Any suggestions?

Chin Chin has a room in the back that might work, though it tends to be noisy. We had Thanksgiving dinner with a group of 13, but not in that room. The food was a little slow coming out, but we hadn't ordered ahead of time, which I imagine you would for a group this size. If you end up there, I'd be sure to include the crispy squid appetizer.

Chinatown Brasserie on Lafayette? I think they may have a private room behind the bar.

You can also reserve their party room in the basement, though 20-30 people may be a little too small a group for that purpose. A bonus to Chinatown Brasserie is that they have delicious cocktails.

Yes, love the cocktails. And good happy hour too!
