As much as it kills me, I am looking to replace my @ 20 year old Kitchen Aid. It's lost its low and high speeds and when I do anything with flour it goes all over the place as I can't ease into it anymore! I have been doing lots of looking at reviews, and am stumped. Does anyone know of a place you can test drive various brands? I live in the Capital District of NY, but I'm willing to make a day trip if I can try several options at once. I do a lot of bread baking, and the KA does drive me nuts with how the dough will quite often creep up the dough hook (and I know some people claim that having a wetter dough combats this, but it doesn't).

Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated!
