A note to the owners of Zon's (inconsistency)

I hope someone from Zon's reads this message board. I have a plea!

Dear Zon's,

I love your mac and cheese. Seriously...I used to drive from Charlestown at least once a month, if not more to get it. But lately, the mac and cheese has been horribly inconsistent. I went about three weeks ago, and it was, as it used to always be, the most delicious dish in the world.

But when I went to your restaurant this week, it was horrible. It could not have been any worse. The mustard was completely overpowering, and the cheese was extremely soupy. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened. It isn’t. I have had a similar experience 3 times in the last 6 months.

I want to keep going to Zon's, but you guys are making it very difficult. Someone in the kitchen is 'winging it'. Not following the original recipe which I KNOW is amazing.

In these tough economic times I cannot take chances on whether a dish from a restaurant that I love will be different from week to week. Please find the person that is creating the mustard soup and fix the problem. Please don’t make me go to the Publick House!

Zon's has been disturbingly going down hill for a few months now. They used to be our go to place, but as my husband says, they are on probation now. A lot of my favorites are gone and the last time I had a conversation with them, they really didn't care about my opinion. They got snippy with me when I mentioned that a deleted item was my favorite and I was sad (for the record I was very polite). I hope they can turn it around, but I've started to have my doubts.
