Great Steaks from Allentown Farmers Market
My DH went to Allentown Sat for a antique gun show and after wandered into the farmers market which was right across the street. He got some terrific NY strip steaks to grill for our dinner Sat night, I don't know the name of the vendor, but he said they were passing out jerkey, calling it rat poison. The sales guy told him they were out of good steaks, so he'd give him crappy ones. lol.
It was Clover Farms and the owner's name is David. He is very engaging and entertaining. All of his meats, burgers and sausages are fantastic. I hope your DH stopped at Mr. Bill's Poultry to the left of Clover Farms as they have the most incredible selection of flavored sausages (my favorites are the Buffalo Blue and the Spinach Feta). The Amish Bakery has great pies and cakes. There are great produce vendors, fish mongers, cheese monges, bread brokers, Meditteranean, mexican, bbq and the list goes on.
