San Diego - great burger + waffle fries?

Hi,

Any suggestions for San Diego restaurants that serve a great burger with waffle fries? Thanks for your help!

    I was at the Tractor Room in Hillcrest the other night and I saw several people at the bar enjoying burgers with waffle fries. I haven't tried them myself, but they looked awfully good!

      Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Actually, the waffle fries are the most important part of the meal - a fish sandwich will be a fine accompaniment, too!

        Blue Water on India has the best waffle fries. Sub in a fish sandwich for the burger and you are done.

          Lucky Buck's in Hillcrest has good waffle fries and a variety of different kinds of burgers.

              You're playing with my emotions! I've yet to find a 'great burger' and 'great fries', waffle or not, in the same place.

                    They got the best chicken sandwich and great waffle fries. (fried in peanut oil)

                        So far no poster has even mentioned a hamburger place......at least I mentioned a place to get waffle fries and a pretty good chicken sandwich.
