Falafel - Richmond, VA
I'm craving a falafel sandwich! Any suggestions where I can find a really good, freshly made one in Richmond? Thanks!

I haven't been in years but I used to love the falafel at Alladins on Broad and Laurel. Style weekly just gave Aziza’s on Main a good review. I don't know if they have falafels.

I also have to suggest going to the Meditteranean Market on Quiocassin. Their tzatziki sauce is too good to pass up! While you're at it you can also get their beef and feta fatayer! Generally, their fatayers are fantastic. I always buymore than I can eat when I go there!

re: princsoreo
in the west end:
there's a place on patterson just west of parham that is pretty good. i like it better than at mediterranean bakery on quioccasan (sp?). i believe it's called istanbul (it changed names) - good fresh homemade stuff. mediterranean bakery isn't bad either though.-

re: Janet from Richmond
some of their homemade dishes are fabulous - but honestly i keep forgetting which ones since they're different since they changed hands. but it's VERY homemade and seems authentic based at food i've had at friends houses. my kids like it too. never a lot of people though so if you get a chance - check it out. now i'm feeling motivated to stop by. it's been a while! :)
