Great Asian Fusion Sobe to South Broward

I am in search for some great Asian Fusion places. We are in Aventura but will travel as far south as Sobe and north to South Broward. We do not need a "scene" and overpriced place like Nobu. My sense from searching the board is that asian/ sushi places are not the "stars" in the food scene in the Miami area. I trust I will get great recs from what is available from you knowledgeable hounds. Many thanks.

I love Coco Asian Bistro. Great Thai food and amazing sushi. The menu is varied with moderate priced classic Thai dishes to a steak with foie gras. It's in Ft Lauderdale off 17th street. It's in a shopping plaza but the decor inside is beautiful. Very well done, almost like a great asian restaurant in NY.
