Oysters in the Suburbs?

Where can they be found other than Red Lobster?

Suburbs is a pretty vague location but ...

Creed's in King of Prussia is good. They have half-price oyster happy hour Mon-Fri from 4-6. And of course, there is Legal Seafood.

Better narrow down the location 'cause there are plenty of oysters around. Doc Magrogans Oyster House in West Chester always has them and cost a buck on Mondays. Brandywine Prime in Chadds Ford has a good raw bar and half price or a buck but not sure which night. If you care to shuck at home try Gadaletos in West Chester. They supply many of the local restaurants and can probably give you names.

Legal Seafood at K of P mall is the best. They have an oyster "tasting" once a year that you need to sign up for a few weeks in advance. $35, I think, for all you can eat.
Last month I had well over 100 oysters; 6 different types of raw, fried, and other ways.
Any other time is also good. Sit at the oyster bar, ask for a few free samples to decide what you like.

How is the price at Legal? I remember getting ripped off tjhere on lobster rolls for lunch before. I think they were like $25. The Radnor Hotel has awesome lobster rolls for much less.

Ludwigs Inn at 401 and 100 has good oysters too. Wednesday is buck a shuck night. Along with the oysters, their snapper soup, lobster bisque and key lime martinis are top notch.

The brickside grille in eagleview does oysters OK, but really isn't anything special

I agree with the Legal Seafood recommendation in KoP. Not too bad for a chain restaurant.

Not sure where you are located, but right out side of Montco, the Columbia Bar and Grille in Phoenixville has $l.00 Oysters all night on Thursdays.
