La Toque vs. REDD, first time in Napa

I am making a trip to Napa for the first time with my significant other and only have one night to indulge in a restaurant. Obviously I can't get into TFL, so I have narrowed my choices down to La Toque or REDD (however, have seen that Terra has been mentioned in quiet a few threads). This is for a very special occasion, although some have said that REDD doesn't cater to this. For overall experience, and considering that I'm staying in Calistoga, does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions/alternative suggestions, etc.? Thanks in advance,

    1. Redd is in Yountville, which is a bit of a trek from Calistoga. My choice would be Martini House in St. Helena, or if you really want a special splurge, The Restaurant at Meadowood.

I agree for a splurge Meadowood will be great. If you want to stay in Calistoga JoLe is a bit more causal, but has great food. I have eaten there three times and have not been disappointed.

Third the Meadowood suggestion -- La Toque has moved into Napa so you would have an even longer drive all the way down valley from Calistoga to eat there.

Thanks for the suggestions...you've changed my mind, I'm either going with Martini House or Meadowood. Thanks!
