Kids discounts in DFW?

jdunck Feb 13, 2009 08:49 AM

Hey all,

Can you list any restaurants you know of which have kids discounts? If you
know which locations, days, hours, or specific discounts, that's great, but not necessary.

One example is: Black Eyed Pea, kids eat free, Tuesday nights.

We're trying to add a "kids specials" discount feature to
PegasusNews.com, and this list will help us get started on it.

I know Dennys and Luby's offer free kids' meals, but I can't give you the details. I'm sure they'll tell you if you call. We've also had a free kid's meal at Texas Land & Cattle. I think it was a Saturday. Central Market also does a free kid's meal (I think it's with purchase of two adult meals) in their cafe. They also do all-you-can-eat pancakes on Saturdays at $1.99 for kids.

My kid isn't old enough to order off the kids menu so I haven't been paying attention to the discounts but I can think of plenty of places that are kid friendly which might have discounts if that's any help.

Thanks-- I saw Yelp has a "Good for Kids" field, but I'm not sure what that means. I wouldn't say First Chinese BBQ is particularly kid-friendly to me. I mean, I guess they aren't kicked out the door, but I'm guessing that's not a special feature. ;-)
