In praise of "Sierra Nevada" Cream Cheese

anyhow Feb 12, 2009 09:16 PM

Their "Farmhouse Natural Cream Cheese" is a revelation -- simply delicious.

Ingredients: Pasteurized Cultured Milk & Cream, Sea Salt.

Spread (thickly, I admit) on Acme Cranberry and Walnut Bread ... well, that's why I'm writing this.

The website is: www.sierranevadacheese.com and if you use the e-mail link, they will quickly tell you where you can find both their natural and their organic lines of cheeses.

Hmm, this got moved to the General board from the SF Bay Area board. Is this fresh, non-stabilized cheese in national distribution now? It used to be available only in Northern California.

Another fan! Anyone tried the organic version?
