Romance in the afternoon, SD

I won't be able to go out for dinner on Valentine's day, so I was hoping for a romantic spot for lunch. Not a big glamorous place, but something more low key, cozy and comfortable for a quiet lunch for two. Outdoor seating in a garden would be a nice option too. Wouldn't mind driving a bit, say up to an hour from downtown. Any suggestions for a nice destination that serves lunch on Saturday, has a romantic atmosphere and great food?

Hacienda de Vega in Escondido...bring some sandwiches and sit at the Self Realization Temple Gardens in Encinitas..hike Torrey Pines State Park and bring a small picnic in a backpack..La Jolla Cove with Girard Gourmet sandwiches and sit at Scripps Park in one of those outside cabanas..The Prado at Balboa Park in the garden outside...
SD Airport and watch the people coming in for arrivals..very romantic and then grab a burger at the Waterfront with a cold beer...L'Auberge Del Mar in a cabana and spend a cozy lunch with a nice bottle of champagne and oysters..Rancho Santa Fe Inn in the library for a quiet lunch and then walk the gardens...can I stop now.. ; )

Brockton Villa at the Cove in La Jolla. Great views and they offer outside dining too.
