Port Chester?
There's a small restaurant - in the small parking lot right across from the Port Chester train station. Any one have any experience dining there? (I forget the name but remember seeing it) Sorry for the vagueness of the question....

IIRC there is more than 1 restaurant where you seemed to indicate a location.
How about going back and finding out the restaurant's name?

I know... I will probably just head on over and check it out. I was just thinking about it and couldn't remember the name while reading the boards. There are a number of restaurants there, but this place looked like it only had an entrance from the pkg lot.

There are quite a few little places across from the train station, but I'm guessing you are thinking of Aqui Es Santa Fe - a litte Colombian place. Here's a post (with picture at the end of the post): http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/577511

Great Place.
Family owned and operated, well worth a try.
