ISO dinner spot for a girls' night out (on Valentine's)

A few of us girls are going out on Valentine's night without our SOs, and I need a recommendation for a dinner spot. All the big restaurants are of course booked. I'm looking for a place that will be no more than $40/person (without drinks) and about 10 miles from the heart of Koreatown at Western/Wilshire. Someplace that won't be full of couples, a place with a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Some place like Luna Park, maybe a BYOB place. Cuisine - something non-Asian and non-Latin, preferably American or California fare.

Thanks all!

I love Nook, but it's a little too far from the Koreatown area. We were planning on going out in that area after dinner.

The singles thing is cocktails only, and the earlist dinner they have right now is 10:30. Thanks for the suggestion though!
