Coming to Montreal this weekend and want some good restaurant rec's

This weekend I'm headed to Montreal from Chicago and was wondering if anyone has some good recommendations for dinner in Old Montreal, and some good brunch / breakfast suggestions. I would love some tips for some of the more out of the way, industrial parts of Montreal, or edgier parts that are less tourist traversed, but have boutiques, art, etc punctuated by little coffee shops, bakeries, brunch spots, etc.!
