Where to find Solomon-a-Gundy?

Does anyone know where I might be able to get some Solomon-a-Gundy (Jamaican fish paste) in Toronto? I've been calling Caribbean grocery stores, but I haven't found one that has any in stock. I'm looking to get some this week so I can take it to a friend, so if you know where I can get it today or tomorrow (or even Friday), that'd be great.

I can't comment on whether or not it's in stock but i usually see it in the west indian stores on eglinton just east of Oakwood. No Frills at Dufferin Mall may also carry it.

Have you tried Kensington Market? There's the two Caribbean shops that seem to have everything along with a couple of fishmongers that might be of assistance. And all on Baldwin too...

Not knowing where you live , apart from the areas mentioned in the above post I will suggest two other areas to try (sorry I can't supply telephone/names) Try (on) Eglinton Avenue West slightly east and west of Oakwood Avenue and also (on) St.Clair Avenue West between Vaughan Rd. and just further west past Oakwood but probably not west of Dufferin Street.

Try Dufferin Meat Market, on Dufferin a few blocks south of Lawrence. They carry many Caribbean groceries.
