    1. old san juan/condado:
Go to the museum of art, there is a michelin star restaurant called pikayo.

      The parrot club (modern authentic)
      Aguaviva (modern seafood)
      La Chaumiere (french)
      The Dragonfly (asian flair)
ajili mojili (authentic, but pricey, if you want that authentic to go a pig roast)
La casita blanca (authentic, and one of my favorites, better bet than ajili mojili)
Il Perugino (famous italian, been there ages)
      Metropol (cuban)
Tantra (PR infused indian, place is pretty trendy)

Also, any of the restaurants in the Hotel San Juan are pretty decent- like the Palm, but nothing is out of this world.

Do yourself a favor- go up to the mountains to a place called GUAVATE.
Enjoy some authentic food, and the most delicious roast pig you will ever eat. Its a saturday/sunday big party! Lots of food, super cheap. It has been called the best PIG in the world by many.
Anthony Bourdain did a segment of his NO reservations there, and there was an article in the NY times should you want to read.

If you go sunday, go early... Pricans love to party on sundays and have one too many Medallas (local beer)

      not to miss dishes:
      ROAST PIG!
      arroz con gandules
      MOFONGO
      tostones
      yuca
      amarillos
      any empanadas, or alcapurrias

HAVE FUN in my hometown ;)

Pikayo is very good but,...MIchelin Star??? Doubt it...
La Chaumiere has sadly been closed for a few years now...
the rest of the rec. sound good...
