Marv's Deli North Hollywood
Has anyone been to Marv's recently? I dont live near there any more but the sandwiches used to be decent and the soups were real good. I used to go by on the way to Burbank Airport for flights.

It's still there. Still the best pickles next to Grandma's homemade. Still delicious.

Lived in Studio City for 10 years and never heard of Marv's.....always went to Art's. Marv's menu is the smallest deli menu I've ever seen.

Monku, It's a small neighborhood place that's been around for a very long time, much like that deli that is next door to Bea's Bakery. I believe they have always done a lot of takeout and catering to stay open. I have never seen them open after 6pm. I am glad they are still kicking.

Just tried this place for the first time. Their brisket sandwich was great. Nice tiny old school place.

soooo what's good here and why should I go here instead of any of the other delis?

No crowds, not expensive, good sized portions, totally home made food and soups and the best thing in the area. Cdub is quite correct in saying it is old school. It has to have been around since the 1970's. Try whatever you normally enjoy in deli's and it will be great.

All kinds of character, great deli sandwiches and Marv or whomever the old guy is a hoot.

That guy was awesome. The brisket sandwich was great. Also refreshing to get a sandwich of that quality for $9.50. I don't complain about the price of langers so it was nice to see this.
