BYOB in Bergen

Metsgo Feb 10, 2009 04:19 PM

Looking for a good BYOB in Bergen County, preferably in the Fort Lee area but will travel about a half hour. Need a place to take wife, in-laws and guest in from California. Want good food , nice service and the ability to sit for a while. Any suggestions?

There is a great byob called Banchetto Feast in Westwood. I have been there several times and have not been disappointed. The crab cakes are excellent as well as their salmon. Lunch is great there too. The menu is big and has some good choices for children. They have a great outdoor seating area. The noise level can be high inside when it's crowded.

Saigon R in Englewood is terrific, if you like Asian. Low-light atmosphere, only 12 tables, and they give you time between courses to talk and digest. Make sure to book ahead.
