Help us escape the Valentine's dinning scene!

I know it is the worst night to go out, but what can we do? We are parents visiting a son at Pomona for parents' weekend and want to have a fun dinner together Sat night. Willing to drive some to get to a fun place- Korean BBQ, Yakitori, all day DIM SUM or something yummy along these lines that will not be a Valentine's dinner destination that night. Want to get out of Claremont regardless, as our son does not have a car and cannot really get to places by himself. Please help a fellow hound from Boston!

Thanks in advance,

I suggest you head to Rowland Heights or San Gabriel for some good Chinese food, search those names on the board. Din Tai Fung in Arcadia might be a little too crazy, but Chang's Garden nearby could be do-able.

Head to Happy Harbour or Seafood Village, both in Rowland Heights.

ipsedixit has it right... go to Seafood Village.

They give some idea of what to order.

Little Tokyo Shabu Shabu is really great if you are into that.
