DC hound girls weekend - need help!
My girlfriend is getting married so a bunch of us have planned a trip to NOLA for the last hurrah. We are staying in the W Hotel and will be going out for at least one nice dinner as a group. Would ideally like a hip place, moderately priced although it is a celebration so would be willing to pay for the perfect meal. Any suggestions?? any kind of food is great
Also i am the only person going that has already been to New Orleans before so while the other gals do the touristy things I plan on bumming around alone and trying to get to know the city on a deeper level. Any suggested lunch spots that cannot be missed and that will be ok for a single diner? Thanks all!

Sat. is Valentine's Day so you wil need resv. If you can't get one, your best bet would be places that never take them : Dick/Jenny's or Jacques Imos. If you want to avoid a long wait, get there about 15 min prior to opening. There will be parades so getting around may be difficult.
